Service Delivery Goal
To provide a service that is accessible and appropriate for Turanganui A Kiwa whanau and their tamariki, young mum's and their pepi.
Provides a range of FREE services for Tamariki (Children) from birth to the age of 5 years and their Whanau (Family).
SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Well Child health and development surveillance checks
- Regular home visits from 0 - 5 years
- Support for whanau/families
- Parent Support Groups
- Child health and safety promotion
- Support for breastfeeding mothers
- Advocacy
Services are provided by Registered Nurses and Kaiawhina
The Mothers and Pepi Service provides support to expecting mothers during their pregnancy.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Liaison and networking with Lead Maternity Carers / Midwives to provide care for mothers and their pepi
- Health / Support advice during pregnancy
- Assistance and Education
- Antenatal Classes
- SIDS Education and support
- Advocacy
