To decrease the incidence of poor oral health in Tamariki and Rangatahi within Turanganui A Kiwa
Education programmes are aimed at ensuring the correct brushing techniques are followed to prevent decay. They are delivered in group sessions to pepi, tamariki and rangatahi through the following programmes
Dental Enrolments:
The Oral Health Programme targets tamariki from birth to 18 years of age. All youth under the age of 18 years are entitled to free dental care, the role of the facilitator is to promote enrolments with the School Dental Services for tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau.
