Service Delivery Goal:
To ensure that the existing health professionals are coordinated and effectively targeted for Turanganui A Kiwa Koroua and Kuia
This is a Marae based programme for Kaumatua/Kuia (Elderly) delivered on a Tuesday fortnightly basis.
It has a Health focus eg Tai Chi, Korikori Tinana, Education Korero or a Social Focus eg Bowls, Cards, Waiata
FREE transport is provided to and from the programme.
Health checks are provided and consist of:
- Blood Pressure Checks
- Blood Sugar Level Checks
- Weight Checks
